This contest was a gear up for the Region Contest next Saturday in Beeville. Performance time will be shared later this week. Taft ISD Bond 2024 Update (as of 9/26/25)
The site has been cleared and holes filled for a majority of the site where the new high school will be. Rain at then end of this week halted work at this site and the baseball/softball fields, but should continue this week. Phase 2 of the new Taft High School construction was approved at the Board meeting this past week to continue moving forward on the blank canvas on the block.
All of the furniture at the Ricardo L. Treviño Junior High School media center has been arranged to create comfortable, flexible learning spaces for students and teachers when they come in to visit.
