The Taft ISD Celebration of Excellence is such a special event honoring the top 15 Taft High School students from the Class of 2025. At this special event honorees also include Taft ISD Educators who made such a positive impact on the lives of these students that they chose them as their Heroes.

The top 15 THS Seniors are invited to participate in this recognition program and were asked to choose a Taft ISD employee, present or past, to honor as their hero. Anonymous invitations were then sent to their “Heroes” to attend this recognition reception where the students revealed to their Hero that they were the ones who had chosen them for this honor.

On behalf of the Education Foundation, each of these Distinguished Students will be receiving a $100 scholarship to recognize the academic success of our students as well as the exemplary educators who have been instrumental in these achievements.
