We are excited about the opportunities and challenges that this project will bring and more excited for the learning opportunities this state of the art facility will bring to our Greyhounds!
Thank you to everyone who joined us at our groundbreaking this morning for the new Taft High School! We appreciate everyone's support to help us get to this historic day after the community passed the May 2024 Bond, especially our Taft ISD Facilities Advisory Committee, Gignac Architects, AGCM project management and SpawGlass Construction. We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation the City of Taft, Texas for their support through this process and in the future as we move forward.
We also want to send special thanks to all of our students from Woodroe Petty Elementary, Ricardo L. Treviño Junior High School, and Taft High School who participated in our ceremony this morning, including Student Council officers, members of the Greyhound Band and our HS & JH cheerleaders.
