THS BPA Students Qualify for National Competition!

Taft High School had several students competing at the State Business Professionals of America (BPA) conference in Corpus Christi this past weekend and our Greyhounds did great! Here is a list of the individuals and teams who qualified for the National Conference in May:

Rylee Rodriguez - 3rd Place Presentation Management Individual
Cara Cerda - 1st Place Health Research Project
Jacobe West - 4th in Entrepreneurship
Lyla Vara, Rebekah Lopez, Rylee Rodriguez & Roger Franco - 3rd Place in Podcast Production Team
Kate Martinez, Yessenia Fuentes & Ricardo Sanchez - 1st Presentation Management Team
Torin Simola, Christian Ozuna, Matthew Alvarez & Joe Alvarado - 3rd in News Broadcast Production Team
 
Congratulations to all of our students for their outstanding efforts and their BPA coach/sponsor, William Worthington! The National Leadership Conference will take place in Chicago from May 10th - 14th. Go Hounds Go!
