School supplies from the community-wide donation effort, Supply Our Students (S.O.S.), sponsored by United Way of the Coastal Bend, KRIS 6 News and H-E-B, have arrived at Taft I.S.D.
"We are grateful to everyone who contributed to this project," states Superintendent, Dr. Irene M. Garza. "For some students, this can mean the difference between being prepared or not as our school year gets underway."
Taft I.S.D. is one of 60 communities to benefit from the S.O.S. endeavor.
